OVERVIEW

The Kumho Road Venture MT51 is a mud terrain, all season tire manufactured for light trucks.

The tire promotes great all weather traction. The symmetric tread design features large staggered tread blocks, wide grooves and a siping detail on the block that firmly grips the road surface in dry, wet and winter weather. The sipes boost the model's winter weather braking ability by providing the additional biting edges needed. The wide circumferential and zigzag grooves avoid hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the tire's footprint. The tire's self-cleaning nature also ensures a safer drive by preventing snow from packing into the tread grooves and blocking the tire from its contact with the road. The enhanced road grip ensures a safer all weather performance.

The tread design also increases the mud terrain traction. The aggressive staggered tread blocks, the notched shoulder design and the sidewall tread pattern improve the soft and loose terrain road grip. As a result, the tire performs especially well in deeper mud and loose dirt. The sidewall design upgrades the model's grip when treading through deep mud. The full depth grooves and stone ejecting ribs manage to maintain a clean footprint by eliminating mud and rocks stuck between the tread elements. Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
