OVERVIEW

The Lancaster AP190 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on the steer axle.

The tire enhances the all weather traction. The all season compound and the symmetric ribbed pattern enhance the dry, wet and winter grip on the road surface. The stronger year round compound maintains the rubber flexibility in various temperatures, from the summer heat to colder winter situations. The symmetric ribbed with the siping placement enhances the surface grip throughout the year with additional biting edges. The circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the footprint, further enhancing the wet and winter weather road grip.

The model upgrades the controllability. The flat footprint's symmetric ribbed pattern maintains the surface contact at all times. The closer and constant surface contact enables the tire to improve the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. As a result, the steering becomes faster and more precise in its response to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the model. This combination guarantees the driver's control over the vehicle, promoting a safer driving experience.

The AP190 enhances the tread life. The symmetric ribbed tread design of the flat footprint and the durable compound increase the model's usability. This tread design's close surface contact ensures even pressure distribution along the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking prevent irregular wear formations. The stronger rubber elements of the compound reduce the tread wear rate with the wear-resistant rubber elements. As a result, the tire guarantees a lengthened service life.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
