OVERVIEW

The Lancaster DC170 Premium Steering is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on the vehicle's steer axle.

The tire promotes a safer all weather performance. It combines the all season compound and the symmetric tread pattern to achieve a secure dry, wet and winter weather surface grip throughout the drive. The all season compound keeps the rubber flexibility in various temperatures, from the summer heat to cold winter situations. The ribbed tread with the siping placement increases the number of biting edges gripping the road surface. The circumferential grooves disperse water and slush from the footprint, further improving the wet and winter traction by preventing hydroplaning.

The symmetric tread design manages to keep a close and constant surface contact at all times, which boosts the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. The better road contact enhances the steering response time and accuracy to the driver's instructions, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the tire throughout its performance.
