The model guarantees excellent all weather traction. The silica-based tire compound and the computer optimized tread pattern increase the road gripping ability in dry, wet and winter weather. The silica in the compound maintains its flexibility in all weather road conditions, while the asymmetric tread design's elements ensure road grip all year round. The special circumferential and lateral grooves, along with the extra siping detail, boost the hydroplaning resistance by dispersing water and slush from below the tire's footprint. The increased road contact and tread design promote a safer year round performance.

The tire's silica-enhanced tire compound also manages to decrease the vehicle's fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. The silica in the compound manages to decrease the rolling resistance by decreasing the weight of the rubber materials.
