The Michelin X Line Energy Z is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on the vehicle's steer axle.

The tire offers excellent all weather traction. The symmetric ribbed tread pattern and the all season tire compound work together to increase the dry, wet and winter weather grip on the road surface. The symmetric tread design features a high-density matrix siping detail. This combined with the zigzag groove walls increases the number of biting edges gripping the road surface throughout the year, enabling the tire's versatile weather performance. The durable compound is capable of keeping the rubber flexibility in different conditions. The circumferential groove placement improves the water and slush dispersing ability and power, which enhances the hydroplaning resistance and boosts the wet and winter weather performance.

The model provides a lengthened tread life. The stronger dual compound and the tire's wider footprint manage to extend the tire's usability. The compound features a wear resistant rubber layer, which decreases the tread wear rate significantly. The symmetric footprint's optimal road contact upgrades the even driving pressure circulation by closely following the road surface at all times. The equally circulated forces of acceleration, cornering and braking avoids the formation of irregular wear along the tread area. This upgrades the length of the tread life and the tire's usability.
