OVERVIEW

The Michelin X Multi D+ is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. This model was designed for drive axles.

The tire utilizes a special, advanced tread compound to upgrade year-round traction. It also manages to lower pressure levels affecting the tire, minimizing its rolling resistance. The rolling resistance is the pressure determining the vehicle's fuel intake necessary to keep the tires in motion. This significantly lowers rolling resistance, lessening the vehicle's fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. The result is a fuel-efficient driving experience.

The tread design's interlocking sipe placement manages to upgrade its usability. This enables the tire to stabilize the footprint, preventing pressure accumulation on sensitive tread areas. As a result, the tire evenly circulates driving pressure and avoids irregular wear. The durable compound greatly decreases treadwear rate, by using wear-resistant compound elements. Their combination manages to significantly lengthen the tire's overall service life.

The Michelin X Multi D+ was designed with a reinforced casing. The durable casing and the Infinity-Coil technology work tother to boost durability. This technology wraps a steel cable around the casing to optimize the tire shape. In this manner, the tire is able to effectively enhance its load-carrying and withstanding ability. This enables its overall load durability.

There might be discrepancies of sizes between brands and models of tires which have this size formatting. As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires, various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.

The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertised represents the tire's overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
