OVERVIEW

The Michelin X Multi T2 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. This model was designed for trailer axle applications.

Exceptional service life is guaranteed with this model. It successfully combines its footprint stability with a wear-resistant compound to achieve this. The stable footprint allows the tire to evenly circulate driving pressure, preventing pressure accumulation. On the other hand, the compound decreases tread wear, actively resisting premature wear. This combination enhances the tire's overall tread life.

Additionally, damage is also avoided. The tread design and compound work together to combat tread and casing damage while the tires are in use. It uses the solid shoulder ribs and their higher rubber volume to combat the tread's chipping, cracking, and tearing. The optimized, evolving groove pattern eliminates rocks stuck between the tread elements at all times. This resists stone retention and protects the casing from damage.

The Michelin X Multi T2 features a reinforced construction. Its 4-steel belt and robust crown structure maintains the ideal tire shape under load and driving pressure. As the tire does not deform, it is able to securely carry heavier loads. This significantly boosts its overall load capacity.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
