OVERVIEW

The Michelin X Works XDY is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on the vehicle's drive axle.

The tire offers a secure performance and excellent traction. The tread's wide footprint with the optimal tread block placement maintains the tire's grip in dry, wet and winter weather. The ideal tread design allows the tire to increase its driving capability on various terrain surfaces, which enables its off-road performance. The tire guarantees a secure drive on off-road surfaces as the tread design keeps a clean footprint to improve the tire's grip on the terrain surface. The tread elements eliminate mud and snow stuck in the grooves to ensure the tire's contact with the road surface. The better off-road traction guarantees a secure driving experience.

The model promotes a lengthened tread life. The durable tire compound is wear-resistant. It manages to slow the tread wear rate down significantly, extending the tire's usability. The wider symmetric tread upgrades the tire's road and terrain surface contact, while the reinforced steel belt construction stabilizes the tread elements. This combination allows the tread surface to evenly distribute the driving pressure along the tread area. The equally dispersed driving forces prevent irregular tread wear and lengthen the tire's usability. Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
