OVERVIEW

The Michelin XDN2 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. The tire was made to be mounted on the vehicle's drive axle.

The model's wider footprint increases the road contact area, which boosts the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. The tire's enhanced controllability is the result of the wider tire footprint and the detailed symmetric tread pattern. The larger road contact area and the ideal grip on the road surface improves the control over the tires. In this manner, the model becomes faster and more precise in its response to the steering axle's commands, while also stabilizing the tire's structure against the driving pressure affecting the model. The better overall controllability enables the driver to confidently maneuver the vehicle in different conditions.

The tire offers an extended tread life and usability. The enlarged footprint improves the tire's contact with the road surface. The symmetric ribbed tread pattern's ideal road contact evenly distributes the driving pressure along the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking avoids the formation of irregular tread wear along the tread area. The durable tire compound significantly slows the tread wear rate down, which extends the tread life and the tire's usability. The slower even tread wear promotes a longer lasting service life.

The XDN2 features a reinforced steel belt internal structure. The strengthened construction upgrades the tire's load and driving durability. This structure keeps the tire's ideal shape under the load and driving pressure affecting the model. This prevents the shape's deformation during the tire's performance, enhancing the load handling and carrying capability. The optimized tire shape upgrades the model's performing capability and power.

There might be discrepancies of sizes between brands and models of tires which have this size formatting. As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires, various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.

The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertised represents the tire's overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
