OVERVIEW

The Michelin XZE is a highway terrain all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. The tire is to be mounted on all axle positions.

The tire offers excellent all weather traction. The wide footprint of the ribbed tread design and the all season tire compound work together to increase the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The tread design firmly grips the road surface in all conditions, while the special tire compound maintains the tire's flexible traction even in colder temperatures. The full depth siping detail further enhances the road gripping capability. The tread's wide circumferential grooves disperse water and slush from below the tire's footprint to effectively resist hydroplaning. The maintained traction and exceptional hydroplaning resistance ensure a secure year round performance.

The tread features a solid shoulder rib design that keeps the tire's road contact at all times. This, along with the durable compound, lengthens the tire's tread life. The solid shoulders' constant road contact enables the tire's footprint to evenly spread out the driving pressure on the tire's footprint. The equally distributed forces of acceleration, cornering and braking effectively prevents the formation of irregular tread wear across the tread area. The special durable tire compound is wear-resistant which slows the tread wear rate down significantly. The slower even tread wear guarantees an extended tread life and usability.

The XZE features groove bottom protectors. They eject rocks stuck between the tread elements to maintain a clean footprint and to prevent stone retention. Stone retention or stone drilling can cause harm to the tire's casing as the rocks can puncture the tire and cause air loss. The constantly clean footprint ensures a safer driving experience in this manner.

There might be discrepancies of sizes between brands and models of tires which have this size formatting. As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires, various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.

The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertised represents the tire's overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
