OVERVIEW

The Otani OH-154 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. This model was made for the vehicle's steer axle.

The tire increases the all weather traction. The symmetric ribbed tread design, with the lateral siping placement, and the all season compound greatly enhance the dry, wet and winter traction. The compound utilizes rubber materials which optimize their flexibility in versatile temperatures, while the tread's siping pattern firmly grips the road surface throughout the year. The circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning. They disperse water and slush from the footprint, preventing them from cutting off the tire's surface contact.

The better road contact of the symmetric ribbed tread design and the all season traction manage to ease the driving pressure off the tire. In this manner, they greatly decrease the rolling resistance, which is the pressure affecting the tire which determines the vehicle's necessary fuel usage in order to maintain motion. Lowering the rolling resistance results in the vehicle's reduced fuel consumption and CO2 emission levels, which leads to a fuel efficient and environmentally conscious performing ability.

The ribbed pattern with the larger center rib keeps the tire's close road contact at all times. In this manner, the tire is able to enhance the steering responsiveness and the driving stability throughout the performance. In other words, they ensure a faster and more precise steering response to the driver's instructions and it stabilizes the structure against the driving pressure affecting the tire. The siping placement and the better road contact generate friction at the moment of braking as well, which significantly shortens the overall braking distance. This combination ensures the driver's better control over the vehicle.

The OH-154 increases the length of its usability with the tread design. The maintained surface contact of the ideal tread design allows the model's even pressure distribution. The equally circulated driving forces prevent irregular and premature wear formations along the tread area, greatly elongating the tread and service life.

There might be discrepancies of sizes between brands and models of tires which have this size formatting. As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires, various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.

The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertised represents the tire's overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
