OVERVIEW

The Pirelli P Zero Nero is a high performance summer tire manufactured for passenger vehicles.

The tire promotes first-rate summer weather traction. The special mix compound contains silica and carbon black that boost the dry and wet weather traction and ensure the compound's flexibility. The asymmetric tread's constant road contact upgrades model's road gripping ability. The wide circumferential and wave-shaped lateral grooves prevent hydroplaning by eliminating water from below the tire's footprint. The model, however, is not suited for winter weather performance, as it loses its traction in colder temperatures. The enhanced hydroplaning resistance and excellent summer weather road grip guarantee a secure driving experience.

The model's tread design maintains its road contact at all times. This upgrades the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. In other words, the steering becomes faster and more accurate in its response to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the model. The tire's internal structure features twin steel belts reinforced with a zero-degree nylon and a lightweight aramid construction which work together to prevent the deformation of the optimal tire shape. This enables the tire to perform to its best high speed capability with ease.

The tire provides a longer tread life. The tread design and silica compound lengthen the tread life. The silica compound is wear-resistant and it slows the tread wear rate down significantly. The asymmetric tread design manages to evenly distribute the driving pressure along the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking actively resists the formations of uneven tread wear, lengthening the tread life and the tire's usability. The P Zero Nero ensures a quiet drive. The tread design channels the airwaves through the tire's footprint without letting them come into contact with the tread elements. Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
