The Pirelli Winter Sottozero 3 Run Flat is a performance and high performance, winter weather tire manufactured for passenger vehicles.

The tire is a run flat model, which means that it is capable of handling the weight of the vehicle and passengers after the loss of air pressure. In case of air pressure loss, the tire can be driven on for 50 miles up to 50 mph, allowing the driver to safely arrive to a destination where they can change or repair the damaged tire. These tires are made for vehicle's that do not have space for a spare tire. They cannot be mixed with regular tires due to their construction being heavier.

The directional double arrow tread pattern with the higher density 3D siping and the flexible winter tire compound improve the winter traction. As a result, the tire received the three mountain peak and snowflake symbol that notes tires with excellent winter weather road gripping ability.
