OVERVIEW

The Primewell Valera Sport AS is a high performance, all season tire made for passenger vehicles. Primewell offers a 45,000 mile treadwear warranty, or a 22,500 mile one with the rear fitment of staggered vehicles.

The tire provides exceptional all weather traction. This is made possible by the silica infused compound used in its manufacture and the specially designed tread pattern. As a result, the tire grips the road well in dry, wet and even in winter weather, providing more weather-versatile uses. The four wide, circumferential tread grooves prevent dangerous hydroplaning situations by eliminating water from below the tire footprint. The model is safe to use all year due to these improvements.

The model's controllability was also enhanced. The cornering ability and power were increased with the tread design's shoulder tread blocks. They stabilize the tread elements and minimize tread movement during cornering and maneuvering. As the tread elements do not shift around or deform, the tire maintains constant road contact. The better road contact improves the tire's handling and controllability. The tire responds to the commands of the driver swiftly and accurately. This precise steering response allows the driver to confidently control the tire in all weather conditions.

The silica-based tire compound makes the tire environmentally friendly as well as fuel- and cost-efficient. The silica in the compound decreases the overall weight of the tire, which in turn reduces the rolling resistance. When the rolling resistance is lowered, the vehicle uses less energy to keep the tires in motion. In other words, the vehicle's fuel consumption and CO2 emissions are lowered. The lower rolling resistance also slows down the wear rate of the tire as it eases the driving pressure on the tire and redistributes the forces of accelerating, braking and cornering.

The Valera Sport AS is an excellent high performance tire. Thanks to the four circumferential grooves, the tire maintains its road contact in any weather conditions, especially on wet roads.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
