OVERVIEW

The Prinx DH106 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on the vehicle in the drive axle positions.

The particular tread design enables superior light winter, wet, and dry road contact. The central blocks and the solid shoulders put more rubber on the road, enhancing dry traction. The biting edges of the blocks and their single sipes boost light winter performance. Four circumferential grooves eliminate slush and water from under the footprint, improving grip and safety in wet conditions.

The ribbed design enhances structural stability. This is further increased, thanks to the internal reinforcements that make the tire more robust, which allows the model to equally balance out pressure and prevent its build-up. As a result, the tire can withstand heavier weights and cargo without deforming.

The model benefits greatly from its five-rib design, as it ensures continual road contact. This works with the model's perfect shape, guaranteed by its sturdy build, to ensure even wear. The solid shoulders also help in resisting irregular shoulder wear, prolonging the tire's life significantly.

The tire sports a single sipe on each of its central blocks. They firmly grip the road with their biting edges, improving the tire's starting response and braking control. The central blocks provide continual road contact, increasing accuracy and steering time. The solid-shoulder design puts more rubber on the road, upgrading traction for stable and secure maneuvering.

The Prinx DH106 reduces the vehicle's fuel intake. The stronger structure and the optimal pressure distribution keep the tire's shape, along with the ribbed tread design's road contact. This enables better traction, reducing rolling resistance, which greatly decreases the vehicle's fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. As such, the model improves fuel economy.

There might be discrepancies of sizes between brands and models of tires which have this size formatting. As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires, various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.

The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertised represents the tire's overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
