OVERVIEW

The Prinx DR601 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. This model is made to be mounted on drive axles.

This model comes with large tread elements, wide grooves, and big shoulder blocks, which closely grip the road surface and maintain consistent contact. This improves the steering response time and accuracy to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. The large shoulder blocks firmly grip the road surface with extra biting edges and upgrade cornering and maneuvering ability. As a result, this model guarantees excellent controllability and driving stability throughout the year-round performance.

The tire improves the all weather traction. In this manner, the tread design and all season compound work together to enhance dry, wet, and winter road grip. This tread design, with the large elements, can easily handle wet and snowy road conditions. At the same time, the special rubber compound protects the tire and keeps its ideal rubber flexibility in summer and winter temperatures. Additionally, large grooves protect the tire against hydroplaning in wet situations. These wide grooves eliminate water and slush from the footprint.

The ribbed tread design and the special silica compound also lengthen the tread life and usability. These elements ensure the tire's longer service life by preventing irregular and premature wear formations along the tread area. It means that the tread design is able to evenly distribute the force of acceleration, cornering, and maneuvering along the tread area, while the compound slows the treadwear rate down. As a result, the model is able to safely perform for a longer period of time.

There might be discrepancies of sizes between brands and models of tires which have this size formatting. As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires, various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.

The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertised represents the tire's overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
