OVERVIEW

The Samson GL671A is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. This model was made for all axle positions.

The strengthened internal structure and the durable compound boost the damage resistance. This combination allows the tire to protect the tread area and the casing during the performance. The construction protects the casing from external damage, such as punctures, cuts and impact damage. On the other hand, the stronger compound elements upgrade the rubber flexibility and prevent the tread's chipping, cracking and tearing. This greatly lengthens the overall service life.

The tread design and the all season compound upgrade the all weather traction. The tread design's solid ribbed tread design and the durable compound increase the dry, wet and winter weather grip on the road surface. The stronger compound elements optimize the rubber flexibility in versatile temperatures, while the tread provides additional biting edges. The tread's zigzag groove pattern avoids hydroplaning in wet weather conditions, by dispersing water and slush from the footprint.

The GL671A improves the controllability as well. The flat footprint and the solid ribbed tread design improve the surface contact while the tires are in motion. This boosts the steering responsiveness and the driving stability throughout the performance. As a result, the tire is quicker and more precise in its response to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the tire. This combination greatly improves the driver's overall control over the vehicle, no matter on which axle the tire is mounted on.

There might be discrepancies of sizes between brands and models of tires which have this size formatting. As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires, various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.

The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertised represents the tire's overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
