OVERVIEW

The Sotera STD-1 Plus is a highway terrain, all season tire made for commercial vehicles. This model is designed to be mounted on drive axle positions.

Great all weather traction is promoted with this tire. The ribbed tread design and the durable rubber compound improve the tire's performance in dry, wet, and winter-weather conditions. In other words, the optimized tread elements follow the road surface at all times, while the all season compound keeps the rubber flexible in changing temperatures. At the same time, the circumferential grooves effectively eliminate water and slush from the footprint, in order to prevent hydroplaning.

The model upgrades its controllability. The ribbed tread design and the durable rubber compound maintain close road contact, which increases steering responsiveness and driving stability. The steering response time is faster and more precise to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. On the other hand, the outer ribs boost the tire's cornering and maneuvering. These elements give the driver full control over the vehicle and guarantee a safe driving experience.
