The Sumitomo HTR Enhance WX2 is a high performance, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. Sumitomo offers a 55,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.

The tread design and all season compound increase the all weather traction. The all season compound keeps the ideal rubber flexibility throughout the year, in versatile temperatures from the heat of summer to colder winter conditions. The asymmetric tread design with the optimal groove and siping pattern enhance the number of biting edges gripping the road surface with additional biting edges gripping the road surface in dry, wet and winter weather. The tread's wide circumferential and lateral grooves disperse water and slush from below the tire's footprint, further boosting the wet and winter weather grip on the road surface.

The tire also utilizes the tread design to boost the controllability. The asymmetric ribbed tread design maintains the surface contact throughout the drive, which upgrades the steering responsiveness and the driving stability.
