The Sumitomo ST948SE is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on the vehicle's drive axle.

The tire offers great load durability. The internal structure features a reinforced four steel belt construction, which maintains the optimal tire shape under the load and driving pressure affecting the model. This prevents the shape's deformation during the drive, which boosts the model's load carrying and withstanding ability. This allows the tire to perform throughout its lifetime with a strengthened durability and load handling capability.

The model's flat footprint and optimal tread design lengthens its usability. The flat footprint and the stabilized tread blocks manage to improve the driving pressure distribution along the entire tread area. This prevents the pressure from concentrating on one area of the tire and improves its tread life. The equally circulated forces of acceleration, cornering and braking avoids irregular tread wear formations, extending the tread life and the tire's usability significantly.

The ST948SE provides a fuel efficient performance.
