OVERVIEW

The Toyo Eclipse is a touring, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. Toyo offers a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty with the H speed rated sizes and a 65,000 mile treadwear warranty with the T speed rated sizes. However, it does not offer a warranty with S and V speed rated sizes.

The tire boosts the all season traction. The all season tire compound and the ideal tread design upgrades the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The all season compound manages to keep the rubber flexibility in versatile temperatures. On the other hand, the tread design with the multi-wave siping pattern and the S-shaped lateral grooves heighten the number of biting edges gripping the road surface throughout the year. The optimized circumferential and lateral grooves disperse water and slush from the footprint, actively and effectively avoiding hydroplaning and boosting the wet and winter weather performance.

The tread design increases the tread life. The rigid shoulder stabilizing ribs and the full depth multi-wave sipes in the shoulder blocks work together to stabilize the tread elements. As a result, they prevent tread flexing. As the tread elements do not create unnecessary friction along the tread area, they enable the tire’s footprint to evenly distribute the driving pressure along the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking avoids irregular wear formations across the tread area.
