OVERVIEW

The Toyo Extensa HP II is a performance and high performance, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles. Toyo offers a 45,000 mile warranty with this model.

The tire promotes exceptional all weather traction. The silica-based tire compound maintains its flexibility in all weather, while the unidirectional tread design with the full depth multi-wave siping detail firmly grips the road surface in dry, wet and light winter weather. As a result, the tire can be used safely all year. The wide circumferential and interconnecting swooping grooves effectively disperse water from below the tire footprint to avoid hydroplaning situations.

The model offers superb controllability. The shoulder tread block sequences maintain their road contact at all times which increases the steering responsiveness, the driving stability and the model’s cornering and maneuvering ability. The steering becomes quick and precise, while the tire is secured against the driving pressure affecting it. In this manner, the driver is able to confidently control the vehicle in all weather. The shoulder tread blocks also provide additional biting edges for cornering. They firmly grip the road during cornering and maneuvering which boosts the driving safety.

The tire’s controllability allows it to shorten its braking distance. The single-cut and double-cut tapers of the design increase and optimize the tread block stiffness. The siping detail eliminates the airwaves from between the tread blocks and prevents them from coming into contact with the tread elements, decreasing the pattern noise heard while the tires are in motion.
