OVERVIEW

The Toyo Open Country Q/T is a touring all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles. Toyo offers a 65,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.

The tire offers excellent all weather traction. It firmly grips the road in dry, wet and winter weather thanks the asymmetric tread pattern. The tread design features large outer tread blocks and a multi-wave siping design that maintains constant road gripping ability all year. The tire prevents hydroplaning by eliminating water and slush from below the tire footprint with the four circumferential grooves, the open lateral slots and the evacuation grooves. This combination ensures a safer driving experience in all weather.

The model’s great controllability is also thanks to the tread design. The tread’s center stabilizer rib increase the driving stability, while the interlocking tread blocks improve the steering responsiveness and accuracy. The model is secured against the driving pressure during the drive which stabilizes the steering responsiveness. The steering response to the driver’s commands is quick and precise, allowing the driver to confidently control the vehicle in all weather. The lateral tread grooves improve the cornering and maneuvering ability and power with the additional biting edges they promote.
