The Toyo Proxes R1R is a performance and high performance, summer tire manufactured for passenger and performance vehicles.

The tire offers excellent summer weather traction and road gripping ability. The unidirectional arrowhead tread design and the silica high-grip tire compound work together to ensure great dry and wet weather road gripping ability. They firmly grip the road surface in summer weather conditions and guarantee a safer driving experience. The tire, however, is not meant to be used in winter weather as the tire compound loses its traction in colder temperatures. The multi-width evac grooves and the tapered center block edge design enhance the hydroplaning resistance by eliminating water from below the tire footprint.

The model promotes great controllability. The tread design's multi-width evac grooves and the competition inspired casing enhance the steering responsiveness and driving stability. They increase the tire's steering responsiveness and accuracy and stabilize the tire against the driving pressure affecting it. The silica compound and the stability block slits upgrade the tire's high speed performance.
