OVERVIEW

The Transmax AP 2000X is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. This model is made to be mounted on all axle positions.

The tire can easily perform in all weather conditions. The ribbed tread design and the all season compound work together to enhance dry, wet, and winter-weather traction. This tread closely follows the road surface in all conditions, while the all season compound maintains flexibility in changing temperatures. Also, the tire can prevent hydroplaning. Wide circumferential grooves eliminate water and slush from the footprint, in order to protect the tire in wet situations.

The ribbed tread design and its close road contact improve overall controllability. The optimal tread can strongly grip the surface, which increases steering responsiveness and driving stability. This steering response becomes faster and more precise to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. At the same time, the outer ribs and their close road contact enable better cornering. This makes the tire safe for highway terrain performance.

The model increases its load and driving durability. The strong construction keeps the ideal tire shape under load and driving pressure. As the tire does not deform under pressure, it can easily carry and withstand large loads. This boosts the load capacity, which makes this model perfect for commercial applications.

The Transmax AP 2000X lengthens its service life and usability. The ribbed tread design evenly distributes driving pressure along the tread area, while the rubber compound decreases the treadwear rate. This reduced and even wear significantly upgrades the tire's tread life.

There might be discrepancies of sizes between brands and models of tires which have this size formatting. As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires, various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.

The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertised represents the tire's overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
