OVERVIEW

The Transporter TR-402 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. This model was manufactured for the vehicle's drive axle.

This enhances the load and driving durability. The strengthened steel belt structure maintains the ideal tire shape under the load and driving pressure, which allows the tire to securely carry and withstand heavy loads with ease. In this manner, as the tire does not deform under the load and driving pressure, which significantly increases the overall load capacity.

The special TriplePrime tread design and the stronger compound elements work together to boost the usability. The stabilized tread block pattern with the solid shoulder ribs allows even pressure distribution while the tires are in motion. The equally circulated forces of acceleration, cornering and braking resist irregular wear formations across the tread area. The durable compound utilizes wear-resistant rubber materials, avoiding irregular wear formations. The tread design's self-cleaning nature avoids stone retention by ejecting rocks from the footprint. This prevents damage to the casing by effectively preventing rocks from drilling into the tread area.

The TR-402 boosts the controllability. The maintained surface contact allows the tire to improve the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. In other words, the tire is quicker and more precise in its response to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the tire. This combination greatly improves the driver's better control over the vehicle, resulting in a safer driving experience.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
