OVERVIEW

The Xcellent D788 is a highway terrain, all season tire designed for commercial vehicles. This model is made for drive axle positions.

Excellent on-road traction and road contact greatly improve the tire's handling. Exceptional surface contact is provided with the ribbed footprint. This significantly boosts the tire's overall steering responsiveness and driving stability. It promotes quick and precise steering responses, while the structure is stabilized. Cornering and maneuvering are also enhanced with the optimal tread elements, resulting in a safer driving experience.

The robust structure and the rubber compound increase the tire's heavy-duty performance. The strengthened and flexible carcass structure enables the tire to significantly increase its larger load capacity. Since the construction does not deform under load and driving pressure, the model is able to effectively enhance its heavy-duty applications. This enables the tire's exceptional performance under large loads.

The tire offers great all season traction, optimizing its year-round performance. The tire provides great traction in dry, wet, and light winter conditions. This is achieved with the tread design and the durable compound. They work together to generate traction with extra biting edges and to keep the tire pliable throughout the year. Hydroplaning is resisted with the tread design that disperses water and slush from the footprint, further enhancing its performance on wet roads.

As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires, various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.

The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertised represents the tire's overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
