OVERVIEW

The Yokohama 504C is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. This model was made for all axle positions of the vehicle.

The model enhances the year round performing ability. The optimal tread design and the all season compound increase the dry, wet and winter weather performance. These tread elements enhance the grip on the road surface with extra biting edges, while the compound boosts the overall flexibility while the tires are in motion. The ideal groove and notch placement upgrade the hydroplaning resistance. They disperse water and slush from the footprint, avoiding loss of traction in wet weather conditions.

The reinforced internal structure and the optimal surface contact improve the heavy-duty controllability. The steel belt structure maintains the ideal tire shape under the load and driving pressure, which allows the tire to carry and withstand heavy loads with ease. As the tire does not deform under the load pressure, it greatly upgrades its overall load capacity. The maintained tire shape and the optimal surface contact enhance the controllability as well. In other words, they boost the steering responsiveness and the driving stability, increasing the driver's control over the vehicle.

The 504C upgrades the usability with the tread's ribbed block pattern and the solid shoulder ribs. These tread elements ensure a better surface contact and allow the tire to evenly distribute the driving pressure across the tread area. This results in a longer lasting usability as the tire prevents premature and irregular wear formations across the tread area. This combination greatly boosts the length of the service life.

There might be discrepancies of sizes between brands and models of tires which have this size formatting. As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires, various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.

The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertised represents the tire's overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
