OVERVIEW

The Yokohama 715R is a highway terrain, all weather tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. This model was made for the vehicle's drive axle.

The tire improves the all weather traction. The all season compound and the optimal block placement across the tread area improves the dry, wet and winter weather traction. The optimal block pattern with the siping placement enhances the grip on the road surface with extra biting edges, while the compound optimizes the rubber flexibility in versatile temperatures. The tread design's circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from the footprint, greatly upgrading the year round performing power.

The better all weather traction also eases the driving pressure off the tire, minimizing the rolling resistance while the tires are in motion. The rolling resistance is the pressure affecting the tire which determines the vehicle's necessary fuel consumption to keep the tires in motion. This results in the vehicle's lowered fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, which guarantees a fuel conscious and environmentally friendly driving experience.

The model promotes a longer lasting usability. The funnel-shaped groove pattern avoids stone retention as the rocks cannot drill into the tread area and harm the casing. In this manner, the grooves prevent casing damage. On the other hand, the tie-bars stabilize the tread area and prevent irregular wear formations by ensuring even pressure distribution. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.

The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertised represents the tire's overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
