Founded in 1914 as M&amp;M Manufacturing Company in Akron, Ohio, the company produced patches, cement, and repair kits for tires. During World War II the company supplied tires for the Allied Forces and was awarded the Army-Navy 'E' Award for their contribution to the war effort.
