The Xeon W-2295 3.0 GHz Eighteen-Core LGA 2066 Processor from Intel has a base clock speed of 3.0 GHz and comes with features such as Intel Hyper-Threading technology, Intel Virtualization Technology (VT-x), Intel Virtualization Technology for Directed I/O (VT-d), and more. With Intel Turbo Boost 2.0 technology, the maximum turbo frequency this processor can achieve is 4.6 GHz, and with Intel Turbo Boost 3.0 technology, it can further be boosted to 4.8 GHz. Additionally, this processor features 18 cores with 36 threads in an LGA 2066 socket, has 24.75MB of cache memory, and 48 PCIe 3.0 lanes. Having 18 cores allows the processor to run multiple programs simultaneously without slowing down the system, while the 36 threads allow a basic ordered sequence of instructions to be passed through or processed by a single CPU core. This processor also supports up to 1TB of 2933 MHz DDR4 memory. Intel did not design this processor with an integrated graphics chipset, meaning that users will need to purchase a compatible and dedicated graphics card of their choice.
